About FiP

The Forum for Independent Psychotherapists Ltd is a member organisation of the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy. It is committed to a critical evaluation of theoretical difference and provides a forum where psychoanalytic psychotherapists of different orientations can meet to examine clinical and theoretical issues.  FiP holds regular CPD events open to members and non-members.

FiP Ltd came into being in early 1997 to meet the need for a non-aligned, pluralistic, psychoanalytic organisation, and has attracted members from across the country and abroad.

FiP Ltd is an accrediting organisation of the Council for Psychoanalysis & Jungian Analysis (CPJA) section of the UKCP. More information about the process of accreditation can be found by following the relevant link under ‘How to Join FiP‘.
