Holders of a European Certificate of Psychotherapy

The United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a national awarding organisation (NAO) of the European Association of Psychotherapy (EAP). As such it also operates procedures to recognise European Certificate of Psychotherapy (ECP) qualifications awarded by other EAP NAOs. These procedures operate to direct applicants to the appropriate college within UKCP based on their original  EAP recognised training and qualification.

Potential applicants who hold a valid ECP and can demonstrate up to date membership of a European Accredited Psychotherapy Training Institute should contact the Council for Psychoanalysis and Jungian Analysis (CPJA) within UKCP in order to seek accreditation and registration with UKCP/CPJA.

Once UKCP/CPJA registration has been confirmed applicants should complete FiP’s online application process for Full Clinical Membership or Full non-Clinical Membership whichever membership status is sought.
